Pat McCrory, former Mayor of Charlotte, and, according to all my fellow right-wingers reports, a quite swell fellow; is now THE #1 Most-hated Politician from Murphy To Manteo. If you don’t believe that just listen to five minutes of “news” (wink, wink, cough) on WRAL-TV5 or spend three minutes perusing either of McClatchy’s failing newspapers in Raleigh or Charlotte.

It only took about a minute after “taking the oath” on Saturday for Governor Pat to usurp fellow Mecklenburger Thom (with an “h”) Tillis as Primo Target Uno of the local ink-stained dumpster divers. Good for Thom I suppose.

It comes as no surprise as both the local print & electronic journo-slime are naught if not as predictable as canker sores and herpes slimplex.

Speaking of a canker sore, have you met WRAL’s Laura Leslie? Somewhere CNN’s Candy Crowley is saying “were we separated at birth?” Did Helen Thomas birth both those two? Eeeeewww, yuck!.... I’m getting nauseous.

Laura Leslie is 180 degrees from any female on FoxNews in every way imaginable. Frau Leslie is Jim Goodmon's #1 Attack Dog.

Greater Raleigh has two well-to-do political activists who are roughly the same age..... both benefitted from, and expanded upon, inherited wealth..... both have high foreheads.

One is the 24/7 target of media insults, false accusations, innuendos, and the worse examples of media assassination imaginable. The “other one” is Jim Goodmon.

Jim Goodmon has ordered, and finances, the on-going media assassination of Art Pope thru Goodmon’s attack vehicle– Capitol Broadcasting. Art Pope’s mortal sin in the eyes of Jim Goodmon is that Art Pope is an avowed Conservative and in full public view and following all legalities uses his ample resources to advance his ideological principles. HOW DARE ART POPE DO THAT whines Jim Goodmon.

Goodmon, on the other hand, hides behind murky FCC requirements for the use of public airwaves to have his hired guns relentlessly attack and impugn the motives and character of Art Pope..... and now to do likewise to Pat McCrory.

Jim Goodmon is certainly not alone in his avowed objective. The equally left-wing loons still employed by GangMcClatchy are, arguably, the most rabid of all area media savages when it comes to teeth-grinding hatred of all things and persons of a Conservative/Republican persuasion.

As I have noted, I have recently cut my cyber cord to The N&O’s on-line edition, having cancelled my hard-copy subscription almost a decade ago. I lead a McClatchy-free life now allowing that I receive copies of their most flagrant and outrageous attacks on any/all prominent Conservatives.

I suppose it is “comforting” to learn that RobRielleWho, BarryTheColonel, JohnnyReb Frank and “the new Steve Ford” – some goober named Ned - are churning out daily slanderous scribble ripping “everyone they despise” which, apparently is a LOT of citizens in North Carolina.

It is going to be a daily 24/7 non-stop attack on every prominent Conservative in this state..... fueled and led by McClatchy and Capitol Broadcasting.

“Despised and impugn by ‘the media’” simply because of our views on politics, religion, and social mores. Have you ever thought about WHY they despise us so?

Call one of’em up one day and ask’em.

	Unaffilliated Voter, NOPE....that site does NOT appear to have any affiliation with WRAL. That site appears to be a veterans site and all the latest news is about the assault on assault rifles. If you go to the WRAL home page, the Binky link is plainly displayed. If you follow it, you will see that in the brief Q & A, WHY they are only doing this for PatMc. Since WRAL waged a war on DirecTV to get more revenue from their re-broadcasting it, I assume that the "resources" came from this. I LOVE the pirate's flag icon on Ethics. Wonder what they would use regarding Bev and Mikey's "ethics" probes. If I look back, as a long time observer of local politics and Ex-WRAL'er, it IS interesting that WRAL did shoot a few holes in the Democratic machine. They stayed on Bev's case about mis-use and waste of state cars. Maybe there was some sexist agenda there....especially since the Duffer in Chief seems to be a "good ole boy" and thinks that his cabinet is better when all of them can stand up to urinate or shoot baskets. With the plethoria of icons on Binky's Basher site, I am SURE that we will find out how poorly PatMc is doing. Suggest you go to the Carolina Plott Hound site and read the comments about the media and the scripts and headlines that are already written....just a matter of pulling in a few obsure facts to launch the hot air pieces. _________ AP: Jim Goodmon is Wake County's George Soros and WRAL is his MoveOn.org smear machine. .

	I read somewhere about a Pat McCrory Promises Checker or Keeper. THEN, I saw it again. Michelle Marsh (?), Pam Saulsby's younger and cheaper replacement was babbling about it .... as usual, having trouble with copy that she had not read three times before. Binky Binker of WRAL fame is setting up the site. He will, OBJECTIVELY, report on how well Pat is keeping his Promises. This is a joint venture of WRAL and the NC Democratic Party...no public funds were expended on this information gathering and spinning effore. Binky, for those with memory issues, was the "journalist" who gathered the Concealed Weapon Carry list and published it online. Lots of retired judges and LEO's, of the DEMOCRATIC persuasion, were aghast at that...especially the ones that lived at the end of their OWN NAME lane and were the ONLY person on THAT State Maintained Road (AKA Driveway). SO, if we want to find out HOW PatMc is doing, Binky will tell up. We need to petition WRAL to get a Promises Keeper Site for the Wake County BOE... You gotta love the LiboJouno's and their need to "provide info" about the ones that do NOT agree with THEIR personal thoughts and agendas. Jim Goodmon and the OLD WRAL (the one that was APolitical and had Jesse) no longer exist. Barbara is WELL remembered by her classmate (Meredith, 1996) as one more outspoken and dictatorial individual....guess when you go back to school and tell the profs what YOU know, the students tend to remember you. 	The local media tried so hard to cover up Dumplin's incompetence and now they are doing an about face to try and cover up McCrory's competence. They were not successful in reelecting Bev and will take their anger out on the new man. Pat's only course of action is to do the good job I am sure he will do. That will make the media have to work that much harder to try and tear him down.
