Do It Roger Goodell. America DARES YOU!

AP logo

A group of very angry NFL AfAm activists have formally petitioned The NFL owners to declare the month of November as (I’m paraphrasing) “The NFL HATES POLICE” MONTH. It would be “celebrated” in the same fashion as “Pink October” for Breast Cancer.

I DARE Roger Goodell and his 32 billionaire old white guy bosses to acquiesce to this DEMAND. See how America responds… Do It Roger…

If you don’t know who Roger Goodell is… just GO AWAY.  Go watch The View or whatever.

NOTE: I predicted “something like this” would happen when Pink Month began 6-8 years. One… “Pink Month” has always been a scam as “breast cancer research received a pittance of the monies raised thru sales of “pink NFL crap”. Allowing that “breast cancer” is “a real justified charity”… Two… every lunatic faux charity / cause would be petitioning The NFL, NBA, MLB for “us too” similar promotions.

The NFL is composed of thirty-two franchises all owned by very very wealthy “old white guys”. Those thirty-two ROWGs employ approximately 1,500 professional athletes. Approximately 75% of those athletes are African-American. That % increases each year. The average contracted salaries of those 1,500 athletes puts them in the “much-maligned 1%” category of American wage-earners.

NOTE: Within three years of the end of their careers either by voluntary retirement or injury-induced , 35% of those athletes are divorced and financially bankrupt from irresponsible money management. … The majority of NFL careers last less than four years due to injury or being replaced by younger better “talent”.

Many of those professional athletes have never planned for any 2nd career “after football”. Their college degree – if they even have one – was designed to keep them eligible to play college football… NOT for any “real world” market value.

Not even 30 years old and no prospects for a productive adult life for the next 30-40 years. That’s not counting knee and hip replacements and possible suicidal brain dmage.

But WHO CARES… fans don’t care as long as whoever wears “their team’s uniform”wins on Sunday. Owners don’t care since the supply of “fresh meat” is endless from the college “feeder program”.

For 30+ years The NFL has “printed money” via full stadiums at high dollar ticket prices; and exorbitant broadcast rights fees. Rich OWG owners got richer… the NFLPA made sure player salaries kept escalating.

Player off-field behavior became more and more violent and “thuggish”… but WHO CARED because fans loved the on-field violence and everyone was making LOTS of $$$$.

“That” all started changing over the past five years. The NFL now finds itself with an ever-growing list of sorta quite serious problem with NO SOLUTIONS. WHO CARES? Now The NFL and those ROWG are suddenly caring.

The 32 ROWGs know that 75% of their employees are “The NFL” not the owners.

Those 75% don’t “get” that the stadiums seats are NOT filled with angry AfAms.  NFL advertisers really like those “NOT angry AfAms” as consumers. 63,000,000 of them.

Stadium attendance and TV viewer numbers are significantly down… meaning “that money printer” ain’t printing money no mo.

Now 75% of The NFL workforce is DEMANDING that The NFL risk REALLY PISSING OFF A LOT of its fans… already not so loyal fans any more.

DO IT ROGER… maybe most of those angry fans are “bluffing”. Call their bluff, Roger. DO IT!

Hellfire Roger.  Every red-blooded, football-addicted American knows what an outstanding straight-shooting son-of-a-gun you are Roger.  Hell Roger… your self-righteous face oughta be on a three dollar bill. Roger Goodell X

Once a fan goes two weeks without watching he realizes how painless it was and how senseless it was to ever be addicted to NFL Football.

63,000,000 American voters voted for the Not Barack Obama / Not Hillary Clinton candidate. Many of those red-blooded Americans were/are “football fans”.

Wonder how many of the “pink pussy hat haters” and transgenders and millennial “snowflakes” and profane AntiFas are “football fans”?  How many Roger?  Best guess…

Let’s assume the BLM terrorists WILL support their AfAm brothers. Will they fill the stadium seats… and the TV sets? Whatchuthink Roger?  A 70,000 seat stadium full of BLM urban terrorists wearing balaclavas and waving 9mms.   How ya like those “optics” Roger?

The Protestors DEMANDS center on the assumption that “The Police” across America are aggressive racists who profile AfAms and arbitrarily kill them with no provocation other than “being black”. Not just “a few rogue cops” but many/most/all are… so say the protestors.  The NFL agrees with that.  Right, Roger?

We KNOW with documentation that AfAms in major urban areas, like Chicago for instance, arbitrarily “kill blacks men” in frightening numbers. No one, especially the former black President and his toadie – the Mayor of Chicago – give a damn about “blacks killing blacks” in Chicago.

“The national media” backed their President by not reporting the massive increases in black-on-black homicides in urban areas.

That “national media” DID and DOES STOP THE PRESSES if any law enforcement officer (LEO) anywhere in America shoots a black man regardless of whether said black man was perpetrating a crime at the time of the incident. A media kangaroo court tries and convicts the LEO immediately ABOVE THE FOLD… FILM AT 11!

When video and witnesses contradict the original LEO SHOOTS INNOCENT BLACK MAN headline, the media conveniently “buries that story”. That has happened on well over 50% of nationally-reported cases.

Many of those afore-mentioned 63,000,000 American voters have figured out this scam. So…

Go Ahead ROGER GOODELL. Bend over and “grab your ankles” for The Kaepernickers”. Your thirty-two ROWG bosses are going to make YOU the fall-guy… the Judas goat. It is going to be YOUR FACE Roger Goodell that tells America that:

THE NFL HATES THE POLICE IN AMERICA

… at least for the month of November.

Do It Roger… I DARE YOU

The NFL will not take this faux outrage too much further IMO. POTUS could order (of course announced by a Tweet) the Treasury Dept to review the NFL’s tax-exempt status. Just a hint of that alone would probably quickly sober up Godell and his merry band of ROWGs. While he’s at he might as well have a go at the NCAA non-profit status too.

Considering Trump and Congress, maybe DT should TWEET NOT to review their tax status?

It looks like the Feds have arrested some MBB coaches for taking sneaker money to steer recruits. Chuck Person among them. GO ahead and burn down the hypocritical NCAA while we are taking down the crystal castle that is the NFL. It’s time is so long in the coming, they likely never imagined it would ever dawn. I did not see any ACC schools named, which I am sure will raise the righteous indignation of everyone in this 50 mile circle, but I am sure there are assistants at each of these places deleting contacts this AM.

Just reading that. No Head Coaches named. The HCs will all “do a Pitino” and go “Sgt Schultz”… GUARANTEED!

I think the Trump NFL thing is exponentially larger, but I guess we will hear more a little later at a presser. If this is the first stage of an investigation, it may have legs, but if this is the end of it, these guys are the sacrificial lambs (well and whoever the apparel company is, I’m betting not Nike or UA).
        .
What are the odds a scandal can hit NCAA BB and not have anyone in the ACC involved? That would be absolutely zero. Sgt Shultz, and then the Louisville/UNC method of deflecting blame back on the NCAA. Those two are the MO of the day.

NO WHERE ELSE on this planet could they enjoy the life they have, and still be able to display such disrespect / dislike for their country, along with great arrogance and a piss poor attitude. I was denied ALL forms of student aid from 1979 through 2007. I’ve had to work two jobs (including for two police departments) at one time ….Maumelle and Mayflower. I’ve dealt with reverse discrimination, quotas, nepotism, and the good ol’ boy system. I made my way and became what I wanted to be!!! It was a long, fierce battle but By God I DID IT…, on my own merit!!!

Great article AgentPierce. I’m praying for half empty stadiums this weekend. I’ve said for years the culture wars in this country will be its demise. Multiculturalism is a death sentence for any country feeding it. This culture of anti-cop (Kaepernick’s passion) is really really REALLY bad for the country and I’m not sure the athletes even know that is what they are supporting with their anti-Trump stance other than of course the group you noted in this article. If they do this “anti-cop” thing in November I really hope the stadiums loose their police security. I know they won’t because that would be against the police officer’s oath. But one can fantasize.

Let me start with a little background. I’m a former spook. I have a degree in military history and one in economics. I am well-versed in both the theory and practice of what used to be called low-intensity warfare. What’s coming, one mile post at a time, is a very bad thing. Maybe some horrific event will startle us out of the dogged march to the abyss of civil war, but nothing short of that will suffice. We passed a tipping point some years back, though you may not have noticed.
        .
There will be a lot of people who rush towards this abyss. The events leading to a civil war take on a life of their own after a while, much as such a war does itself. If you have not seen a war amongst the people reach it’s ultimate conclusion first hand, I would encourage you to examine Bosnia, Cambodia, and the Spanish Civil War in some detail. Our previous war between the states was abnormal, and it won’t be repeated. The next war will devolve into a level of brutality and mass extermination that simply staggers the imagination. Once the infrastructure starts to be compromised and disputed, the end for many will come not from atrocity, but from want.
        .
Matters maybe coming to a head alright, but not the one you intend. For myself, I pray for a long, bitter winter.

I’m certainly not in any position to take issue with anything you say / predict. Where we (“America”) are now did not begin on Nov 8th or even 8 years earlier with the Obama Coronation. I can’t say there was “A” starting point, but here we are. We are a very uncivil society now… I don’t feel that I have anything “in common” with rank&file liberals but a pair of opposable thumbs. Can we co-exist side-by-side in some fashion? At my age, I don’t believe I will live to see such a time if indeed it would come. … “Conspiracy Theories” abound. Everyone has their favorite(s). I’ve always heard 50% of them are bogus… but which 50% ??
          .
Many “Great Civilizations” have come/gone thru recorded history. None of them saw their demise coming until it was upon them. I don’t believe “human nature” has changed that much over 6,000 years.

          • JP

Human nature hasn’t changed, but the speed of information, both true and false, has. The major difference between the past and today is the speed at which a carefully orchestrated lie can lead to real trouble. The side that prevails will be the one that can preserve secure communications after the government restricts the current public access to modern communications. No matter what side you’re on, once violence starts to get organized the government will pull the plug on cell and satellite comms to try and restore order by isolating areas of trouble. That is actually a policy in the event of an uprising, NucFlash, or ELE. GPS accuracy as you now know it will also be restricted. The fighting will then be localized, brutal, and without quarter. Nobody ever forgets where they buried the hatchet.

Are you familiar with a Twilight Zone episode called “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street”? Premise is “space aliens” play havoc with a neighborhood’s utilities, vehicles, power/light/water etc … anarchy quickly develops and pits neighbor against neighbor… Rod Serling didn’t know about cell phones and Internet and social media …
            .
Do you have a solution to the civil insurrection direction “we” seem to be heading towards? More practical than “can’t all we just get along”? Not meaning to be cynical, just asking?

          • JP

Yes, but keep in mind that we have reached a point at which all solutions will be unpalatable. No matter what degree to which society deteriorates, there will come a point at which a majority will decide that the rule of law is better than continued conflict. What constitutes the rule of law will depend upon what is referred to as the luxury of justice.
            .
Where there are no jails, or a food shortage, or a rule of law that depends solely upon feat of arms, most crimes become capital crimes. Short of become a failed state like Somalia, that is the most unpalatable outcome. To avoid that outcome, whether you like it or not, people are going to have to get intimately involved with their local police. A lot of these bad actors could be exposed and arrested long before they reach critical mass if the local police could rely on witnesses getting involved, making statements, showing up in court, and embracing jury duty. Insurrections cannot succeed where the rule of law prevails.
            .
If you really want to learn how insurrections are defeated, and how they’re not, read Winning Insurgent War, by Demarest, and maybe The Philippine War, by Linn. A courtroom packed by supporters of both due process and accountability to the rule of law keeps judges from both railroading the innocent and pandering to the guilty.

I’m angry, too, but I’m willing to put up with a lot to see the rule of law prevail. If we sacrifice that to necessity, we might as well join Antifa because we’ll end up exactly where they’re trying to go.

Yes, they are. Well organized, well financed and well “managed”. “NFL players” are just this week’s pawns in a much bigger chess game… or maybe Stratego. Like “Chinese infantry”… run’em out there and know that they will get chewed up but who cares.

          • JP

I will take issue with their being well-organized, at least from an insurgency standpoint. They are a broad-front attack from Soros, with various actors and sponsors coming on and departing the stage, but they are not well-organized. The established left is a statist organization, but Antifa is anti-statist. Both groups think the other are useful idiots. The same can be said of BLM, the Women’s March crowd, and various others entities being used as agents of chaos. Soros hopes to wield these various weapons as a means to serve a global socialist agenda, but these things take on lives of their own. Very few initiators of mob rule have ridden the mob to a throne, and this is not one mob, but many. Part of what will make any coming conflict to vicious is the inevitable purges of heretics and apostates that will consume the left.

I would look to the French Revolution\Terror\Napoleon for a precedent. Or the Russian Revolution and ensuing civil war and purges. Mao, Hitler, and Mussolini rode their respective mobs to power, but that’s not what usually happens. Lenin did it because most of the ground was already seeded with Marxism, but that isn’t the case here. BLM hopes to pillage and then wag the dog. Antifa wants to kill the dog. The Dems want to be the top dog in a pack. They don’t have a basis for cooperation beyond chaos, fear and hate. Anyone can kick a sleeping tiger, but few have a plan for it’s teeth.

President Trump has taken head on the only war in America worth fighting, the “Culture War”. The one war the republicans surrendered faster than the French. Just the mere mention of culture issues sends a republican politician into brain spasms.
    .
When several preachers lay their hands on President Trump in the Oval Office recently to pray for him and a picture was revealed the drive bys went ballistic. His Faith was immediately put into question as well as the preachers who prayed over him. I don’t need to outline the rest of the issues President Trump lines up culturally on the right side and is not afraid to face head on. However,it is refreshing he has exposed the cowards in the GOP who have railed against the liberal policies at home during town halls and community meetings only to go to their offices in DC and State Capitols to do the opposite. I love to hear the republican leaders say he should stick to health care and tax reform. Neither of those they are willing, nor want to move forward. It is clear their masters are not,and have never been those who voted them into office. Only the people who suffer the culture are interested in what becomes of the culture war. And,in my opinion that is enough to keep President Trump and anyone who supports his agenda in office for a long time.

The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states:
“The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem.
“During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”
