You’re gonna have me hoppin’ on another jet plane heading home again sooner than I planned…..    That was my dad and I fishin’……  🙂

Remember the sign-off on one of the channels–5 or 11 way back–soft fade-out music was a slow rendition of Dixie…..And of course from Wolfpack lore–the Alma Mater written by my high school history teacher’s husband,  Where the winds of Dixie softly blow o’er the fields of Caroline…..

Those two kids could have been little Nancy and I…..alas  🙂

Actually I do recall something like that. Well we CERTAINLY won’t be seeing/hearing THAT ever again.
A small town “main street” was a bit different from a Wal-Mart parking lot, huh! I understand “progress” but don’t have to like it.

Well Outdoor Fun in the Hot Summers would be mighty tempting.  Boiled peanuts and Old Ways with that burley tobacco hanging in the barn are both notable. Playing an Embers & Tams 8-Track tape would be a couple of great summer soundtracks.

I could identify with most every picture in some way.
