An Official BobLeeSays Column Fodder Episode…. Just came from Breakfast at a local cafe I frequent… they have two TVs (both on CC / mute) both tuned to The View with Whoopi & Joy’s Gang. I politely noted to the hostess who knows me as a regular customer that maybe that was NOT such a good idea UNLESS the owner INTENDED to send a message. I suggested either HGTV or The Weather Channel as “safe”. …… she was VERY apologetic and went to change the channel ……
Two diners at a nearby table overheard my comments (Uh Oh… I tensed) and said “We could not… (UH OH)… agree with you more. we were going to say something too…” ….. Such are the times we are living in! Don’t ever be afraid to speak up… but BE NICE! … Or as Dalton says in RoadHouse“until ‘nice” doesn’t work any more.”
